"Basic pattern of dress"
The basic pattern is the basis for subsequent modeling of garments. Using the basic pattern, you can independently, easily and quickly create the desired clothing models. Implementing your ideas with it is convenient and easy!
How to order a basic dress pattern?
To do this, you need to: take measurements as shown in the pictures (21 measurements) and send us an email with your measurements.
Next, within 1-3 business days, we will send you a link to your order for downloading a PDF pattern.
How to take measurements: general rules
Measurements for constructing patterns of dresses, skirts or trousers need to be removed by linen. Put on the linen with which you intend to wear the product. This is important, as a different form of bra, for example, can change the height and girth of the chest.
Designate the natural level of the waist with an elastic band or a thin cord - this will simplify the task.
When creating a pattern, you need to remember that the measurements taken from the figure are not equal to the dimensions of the parts. When constructing drawings, an increase in freedom of fit is added to the measurements. This is not a constant. It depends on the size of the figure, the properties of the fabric, the purpose and silhouette of the product.

1. Your height
2. The tape with the lower edge passes behind slightly above the seventh cervical vertebra, laterally and in front - at the base of the neck, touching the clavicular points, and closes above the jugular notch. The measurement value is considered at the lower edge of the tape.

3. On the back, the tape runs horizontally, touching the armpits, then along the armpits. In front, above the base of the mammary glands.

4. On the back, the tape runs horizontally, touching the axillary hollows, then along the axillary hollows in the plane of the oblique section. In front - through the nipple points.

5. The tape runs horizontally around the body through the nipple points and closes on the right side of the chest

6. The tape runs horizontally around the body at the level of the waistline.

7. The tape runs horizontally around the body along the most prominent points of the buttocks at the back. In front - along a flexible plate applied vertically to a protruding point of the abdomen.

8. Measure the girth perpendicular to the axis of the shoulder. The top edge of the tape should touch the back corner of the armpit. The tape is closed on the outer surface of the hand.

9. Measure the distance from the highest point of the projected shoulder seam at the base of the neck to the protruding point of the breast.

10. Measure the distance from the highest point of the projected shoulder seam at the base of the neck to the horizontal at the level of the posterior angles of the armpits.

11. Measure the distance from the intersection of the waist line with the spine to the end point of the projected shoulder seam.

12. Measure the distance between the front corners of the armpits.

13. Measure the distance between the posterior angles of the armpits along the shoulder blades.

14. Measure the distance from the highest point of the projected shoulder seam at the base of the neck to the end point of the projected shoulder seam.

15. Measure the distance from the waist line at the back to the highest point of the projected shoulder seam at the base of the neck parallel to the spine.

16. Measure the distance from the highest point of the projected shoulder seam at the base of the neck through the nipple to the front waist line.

17. The girth is measured perpendicular to the axis of the forearm along the wrist joint through the head of the ulna. The tape is closed on the outer surface of the hand.

18. Measure the distance from the end point of the projected shoulder seam along the outer surface of the shoulder and forearm to the level of measurement of the wrist girth.

19. Length of the dress

20. The horizontal distance between the protruding points of the mammary glands is measured.
